Note about the piece

Losing oneself, suddenly realizing that one has forgotten their name means feeling and living (before even investigating) the hiatus that separates us from what lies outside of us. This hiatus breaks the bond between cause and effect in favor of a fluid disconnection, a continuity in the disgregation between the metric and the syntactic elements, between the vectoriality of a melodic flexus and the proliferation of a rhythmic cell, between unexpected voids and coalescent silences. 

Disgregation here does not mean dissolution, but rather a suspension that allows us to re-set the frame through which we perceive ourselves and what lies outside of us.

This condition features the strive for a directionality that is continuously suspended, refuted, denied, indulged, or confirmed by situation and/or functions. This research may emerge through a fauvist colored contrast, a tearing contradiction, or even through the transparent watercolors of a reconciliated imbrication, in an alive and blurred heterogeneity.
