Note about the piece

The body as a crowded throng and the impermanence of the breath open to a tense dialectic that seeks a constantly delayed fusion.

The vibraphone transfigures these contrasts in a sort of fragile anatomical theater: unity is again dissected and frayed and then liquefied in the hands of the percussionist.

Thus we can get our bearings in the reminiscence of an ancestral amniotic fluid: there, body and breath have not yet experienced the hiatus separating the "outside" from us.
