Note about the piece

Proximity, distance, similarity, difference, reflection, diffraction: it is in this gap, in this hiatus between unity and heterogeneity that the subjective approach of the listener is able to move and seek the “going” that is always part of “staying”.

 

The relationship with the material is transfigured by a syntax which is constantly created over time: the contours of inflections, profiles and figures live in a functional / situational context in continuous becoming.

 

The form is modeled on relationships, possibilities, ambiguities and perspectives that nourish the mutual inference of these changes: a sort of co-present sliding that innervates the score of possibilities.

 

In this moment we are separated, closed in ourselves due to the excess of incomprehensibility, lost in the vertigo of solitude: what is left is this tension between distance and closeness, between what we know, recognize and do not yet know.

There remains a will, an attempt of movement, the desire: I believe that the only necessity is not knowing the answers, but asking ourselves questions, looking for them.
