Note about the piece

The "use of return", this nostalgia in the title, is in the relationship of distance and closeness with which I gave shape and molded my roots: it is in the transfiguration and appropriation of part of the collective imagination linked to the instrument through a dialectic approach of constant expropriation.

 

The narrative dimension is investigated thanks to the two-faced nature congenital to the piece in which inflections, gestures and figures systematically change functions and perspectives.

 

Stubbornly we enter a contrapuntal dimension that compresses and virtuosically pushes the limits of the instrument, that faces its imaginative scope to free it in a context in which it is perceived and listened to in a renewed relationship with itself, in this territoriality of conjunctures.

 

This internal dialogue leads us to perceive an unspoken polyphony that moves between recognizing and knowing, between habit, astonishment, disappointment and expropriation.
